A city where hytech fashion not only walks the ramp but also just walks the streets. I couldn't wait to fashion up myself, catwalk the roads and watch the local fashionistas and also of course the city ;).

Piazza del Duomo/Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Milan: It's right outside the Metro station. The Marble constructed structure of the Duomo is hard to miss.

Recommendations, Suggestions and Tips:

• Visit in the the evening with all the hustle and bustle around. This will give you the possibility of enjoying early dinner in an outdoor setting. 
• Visit after dark for the illuminated Duomo. I wanted to but couldn't. 
• Visit during the very early morning sunrise. Shopping Plaza and Cathedral is not open at the early morning hours. But trust me it is the best time for shutterbugs to capture the sophisticated architectural details in the surroundings with hardly any foot traffic.
• The restaurants and shops in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II (a plaza adjacent the Duomo) are a bit pricy but worth one meal to capture the experience.
• If you can afford to splurge and spoil yourself Plaza is filled with legitimate designer brand shops and showrooms for fashion shoppers. 
• Beer lovers will certainly get a kick out of this place (I mean the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II restaurants).
• Taking photographs are mostly not allowed within the Basilica/Chapel or near the paintings. People do sneak to do it anyways. If you get caught you may have to pay the price or erase the pictures if the guards ask you to do so.
